I believe this documentary was put together in the early 1960s. It details the building of Mellon Institute, 4400 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, now part of the Carnegie Mellon University campus in Oakland. Groundbreaking for the building took place on December 5th, 1930. It was dedicated on May 6th 1937 by A. W. Mellon.
The narrator of the documentary was Paul Long.
The video was borrowed from CMU's Hunt Library in the late 1980s. At that time it was transferred from Umatic tape to VHS. At some point at in the mid 1990s it was transferred to MPEG2, and uploaded to You Tube in 2013.
