Remington .22 short - can it penetrate bone? (ballistic testing)

Poboyspecial got some Remington 22 shorts (high velocity) and wanted to know if it can penetrate bone. We got some ribs and put them in the wetpack to see what kind of results would occur. We put 12 inches of wetpack out to see if it is enough for this little round. We mixed bones throughout the first 6 inches of wetpack, and then put 4 layers of denim to make it a viable test.
