This is a nighttime demonstration of the upgraded LED emergency lights system I use on my patrol bicycle for our police department bike patrol unit. I did not like any of the current LED systems for bicycles on the market, so I made my own system. The front LEDS are a set of synched alternating quad-flash red and blue third-generation 3-diode modules and the rear is a third-generation 4-diode split module, which are two red and two blue diodes in a quad flash alternating pattern. This is a 12 volt system and runs on a nickel metal hydride rechargable water bottle battery.
Due to overwhelming interest in my setup, if you are a member of emergency services and would like a component sheet showing everything on the bike, the prices, and where purchased, please message me with your name, agency affiliation, and email address and I will email the MS Word document to you. Thanks to all for your interest!
