In this video I show how/where I find inspiration for some of my projects which in this case came from a pile of unfinished projects I had lying around.

oh yeah.... I have so many unfinished ones....

Great ideas on just keeping a small amounts of stuff. I have way too many magazines and similar papers I really need to clean out. I've been watching Jennibellie for a few years, she really has some awesome ideas and I too love her accent! I also love chunky jewelry! But I haven't made any of her beads yet. My doctor suggests just spending time cleaning out things as a way to help me get back to my art. I've tried it once but not feeling the pull yet. I do miss it so bad! I just want my Mojo back! If I can make myself watch a video like this one, it helps but it's getting myself to watch them that's the hardest part. TFS

I have a needlepoint pillow from 1986. All that is left is the border. I spent FOREVER on that project. I can't bear to get rid of it. Not sure what to do about it. Maybe I can just leave the border off. It was started 1 year before I got married. Unfortunately, we have been separated for 10 years. Maybe I'll finish it when whatever is meant to happen in this chapter of my life gets finished. Symbolic. You are so inspiring to me.

I have to share what my husband said. He said "your whole race", meaning crafters, "are just one odd rule from being creepy hoarders". I am a cardmaker, knitter, person trying to complete first scrapbook. .. etc. I have a little over 200 completed holiday cards for the Red Cross and maybe another 100 in progress. Read on the table, end tables..... Thank you for this video!

I have loved all of Jennibellies stuff, but did not love the foil beads. You, however have made them "finished". I will revisit the foil beads now, "Shannon Style"!

Are you talking about the brown leather one with the fibers on the spine? If so, that one was easy to make cuz I didn't. I bought it :) I do like me a store bought journal now and then!

That thing has been folded up for so long it's sort of pointless now! If I ever do finish it I will steam block it before I frame it and if the creases come out...fine. If not...fine. I'll work with whatever I get!
