Recorded January 17, 2004. The Na Pali coast extends southwest starting at Keʻe Beach extending all the way to Polihale State Park on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai. The pali, or "cliffs", rise as high as 4,000 feet above the Pacific Ocean. Although inaccessible to automobiles, this coast can be enjoyed by hiking, boating or from a helicopter. This video begins on the ground at Kalalau Lookout. This glorious lookout provides a panoramic view of the Kalalau Valley, the largest valley on Na Pali. The video then shifts to the helicopter for a birds eye view of the area.
