Autism is the fastest growing disorder in America. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that all children be screened for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at 18 and 24 months of age, but many children are not diagnosed until 3 to 5 years of age or later. This recorded webinar helps to understand the basics of ASD and brain development. The session also helps participants recognize the role of early detection as a key component to enhancing a child’s potential which means earlier access to intervention to all those diagnosed to lead productive, inclusive, and fulfilling lives.
