This is the only game in the "Dream Land" series that I haven't done, so why not do a Playthrough of it? This Playthrough will show the game 100%, with every Heart Star and the other options(Super NES MG5, Jumping, and Boss Butch!). In this part, we complete Grass Land, the first Level of the game.

These are the stages shown in this part:

Grass Land, Stage #1: This stage shows off the game's colorful graphics really well. You will meet two Animal Friends here. One is Rick, a hamster who has his abilities from Kirby's Dream Land 2, such as walking normally on icy surfaces, along with running faster than the other Friends. But now, he is able to climb up walls. Unfortunately, he is no longer able to inhale enemies. You have to run into the enemy you want to eat while holding Y. Nago is a cat whose first appearance is in this game. He is able to triple jump, which can be quite useful. To get the Heart Star in this stage, you must get through the third room of the stage (this excludes the Animal Friend room) without stepping on any of the Tulips. If you do so, the Tulip at the end of the stage will give you a Heart Star.

Grass Land, Stage #2: This is another nice-looking stage that has two new Animal Friends to use. Chuchu is a blob creature who is able to jump multiple times, along with descending with extra jumps for a safe landing. Instead of inhaling enemies, Chuchu will use one of her tentacles to grab an enemy and put it into Kirby's mouth. Pitch is a bird that has slightly different flying than Coo from the second game. Coo always lets Kirby fly, but with Pitch, you can fly whenever you want to. It's kind of like Wing Kirby. Also, this stage introduces the Clean Ability. This is the only game that has it (it was in the unreleased GameCube game as well). To get the Heart Star in this stage, you need to find MuchiMuchi, who is in a hidden door covered in blocks. In here, you need to hit MuchiMuchi with Chuchu. Yeah.. I don't know what you're supposed to be doing to make him happy like that. Anyways, after doing this, you will be rewarded with the Heart Star at the end of the stage.

Grass Land, Stage #3: This stage is pretty simple. It introduces the last two Animal Friends. I also decided to show Gooey, a friendly type of Dark Matter who was also in the second game. In this game, he's the "player 2" or an assistant for Kirby if there's no second controller put in. You need to sacrifice some HP to have him out, but if you're low on HP and release Gooey, you can eat him to get HP back, which can be useful. Coo is an owl who works exactly like he did in Kirby's Dream Land 2. He lets Kirby always fly, which is really useful. Kine is a sunfish who acts like he did in Kirby's Dream Land 2, having great control underwater, but isn't that good on land. To get this stage's Heart Star, you need to play a mini-game with Pitcher Man. He will throw a Gordo, showing the face of it briefly. You need to match the face of the Gordo you choose with the one he throws. After each round, he will throw it quicker. If you beat all three rounds, Pitcher Man will give you a Heart Star at the end of the stage.

Grass Land, Stage #4: This stage mostly takes place in a cave. Using the Stone Ability, destroy the Stone Blocks later in the stage to find a hidden door along with some Pep Brew. You will see Boboo inside, a mini-boss who fights a lot like Efrite from Kirby's Dream Land 2. After defeating him, enter the next room to find Goku, a monkey from Famicom Fairytales: Yūyūki. Run into him to "obtain" him, then make your way to the end of the stage where Cahmu (also from the earlier mentioned game) will give you the stage's Heart Star.

Grass Land, Stage #5: This stage takes place in a nice, forested area. It's quite an easy stage. For this stage's Heart Star, you need to take Kine to the end of the stage with you. You will see a female sunfish named Mine. If you have Kine with you, she'll give you a Heart Star.

Grass Land, Stage #6: Trees are all over this stage. You have to travel all around one for this stage's Heart Star. There's three shapes that you need to find. They're pretty easy to locate. Once you find them all, make your way to the end of the stage to find Pierre, a clown. he will give you the stage's Heart Star for helping him out.

Grass Land, Boss: The boss of Grass Land is Whispy Woods. He fights a lot like he did in earlier games. He attacks with fruit and vegetables (for some reason), along with spitting out puffs of air. You need to inhale his fruits and veggies and spit them back at him. After doing this enough, he'll get angry and begin to chase after you. Only his face will damage Kirby. His roots will kick Kirby away from him like a soccer ball, but won't damage him. Whispy will also spit out rotten fruit (and vegetables) to get in your way. Inhale these and exhale them back at Whispy until he's defeated.
