It was actually just called DJ, but that doesn't really do the man justice. For the uninitiated this was the equivalent of making a film with Pele, or Michael Jordan, or Joe Namoth, or Viv Richards or..., you get the drift. Suffice to say that I finished the project disgusted that I never got to play the game - one session in 3rd class with the Christian Brothers in Eblana Avenue where I was sent home for breaking the star player and free taker for every team in the school's hurley. A promising career nipped in the bud. But the film won an award for the Sports Broadcast of the Year - whoop whoop.
