My Coast 2 Coast Walk Apr 2011 part 5
Day 5 - Grasmere YHA to Patterdale

A long day with a lot of sunshine ( again )
A great walk up to Grisedale tarn, then a knee hurting slow decent into the grisedale valley.
I planned to climbe Dollywagon pike and take the Helvellyn high alternative. But with stl a hurting left knee from the strugle on windy gapp and Red Pike. i dare not.

The valley route was quit hard ( with great views ). But what a relieve if you encounter friends like John and Darren.
They sticked with me, and wen arived in Patterdale they took me to a place called Bowness and i was spoiled as a child. :)

I will see them again coming april on the West Highland Way near Kingshouse.
