I DID NOT DYE THE CHICKS. And they are alive, happy and healthy. They were released in the land around my grandparents house, free to roam in the farm/forest area with the 100+ chickens and rooster already there. Even though they are both males, they follow each other and HATE being away from each other. They rock. PLUS, ABOUT THEM: I managed to save them from a crappy pet shop where they had them all under blistering heat and cramped together.

ABOUT THEIR COLOR:
They used vegetable dye, so no they were not dipped in paint. At first I thought the same, but this is not the case. Still, I don't approve the dying thing; I really like their natural color. Also, it causes too many dumb kids to get them... which usually means death.
