Mod Organizer is a free utility created by Tannin, an artist of software programming, to ease the process of modding (modifying, modification, changing, altering, adding, so on...) games such as Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls 5 ( tes5), It is multifunctional, multipurpose, and when the user gains the basic knowledge and advanced techniques a powerhouse and fast execution of modded video games.
GamerPoets will do its best to help and answer your questions. However, the creator, Tannin will know more on this subject than anyone, and second to him, S.T.E.P. and the Mod Organizer support Team. Head over to their page and ask them your questions if we cannot. Modding can be hard. Using Mod Organizer for the first time can be intimidating. It does not need to be = ) Modding is fun and should be.
Forward: If you cannot figure out how to install M.O. and can not follow the guide properly or have previously done something else with your game or P.C. do not come on here as a troll or a raving ranter because you are having problems. All you are going to do is sound like a person who has many more issues and problems than just Mod Organizer. We are happy to help the best we can. Profanity will get you blocked from the channel. Harassment will get you blocked from the channel. Portraying yourself as the lowlife in any form will get you blocked from the channel. This is a community that supports one another. We are not here to debase each other. We are here to provide an entertaining and educational environment for those who care to be a part of it. If you are not one of those who care to be a part of it, be a man or a woman and walk away. Don't be a buffoon.
comments by Shinji,
subfolder. Now let's say it's smart enough to find the correct Skyrim data folder when launched via MO (I think it does). But then 1) what's the point to launch it from MO at all if you're ending up to put the files in the game original data folder (which defies the whole MO philosophy)? 2) Let's suppose the user has some other body type installed via MO. They will overwrite the data created via Bodyslide.
It makes more sense to follow the procedure in the previous post. You can even created a specific folder (not just in the "overwrite"). This way you will have different bodytypes easily switchable, with a simple click, via MO.
So yes maybe the Step guide needs to be fleshed out.
There is nothing inherently wrong in your video (and in the guide). It just stops short of giving the final information that would give launching Bodyslide via MO a real advantage.
This way your launching BS just in a more complicated way... but the final result is exactly the same as if you would start it directly from you desktop.
Oh man. Sorry for the long post!!!!
