Using AWS, Netflix is empowering its engineers to develop and test fully integrated applications directly on their desktops, saving hundreds of developer hourly weekly. Netflix is a multinational entertainment company that provides online streaming video and DVDs by mail to more than 86 million members. The company is using Amazon EC2 Container Service to build an extensive set of open-source tools that will enable innovation both within Netflix and for other companies. Chief Product Officer Neil Hunt spoke onstage at re:Invent 2016.
