Did I already mention how much I love Metalstep? I know I did. But I can't stop gushing over this musical genre. It just kicks SO MUCH ASS. And I'm ever so grateful to Pizuya's Cell that it finally really hit the Touhou fandom. If I had the money I'd travel to Japan, learn where Pizuya lives and give him a big fat hug. The only thing that bugs me a bit about Pizuya's Metalstep is, that he only arranges songs from the music CDs into Metalstep, but no songs from the games. The problem is - I'm running out of pictures... There's not many pictures of Renko and Marribel befitting something as awesome as Metalstep :/.
This arrange is no different. Well, ok it is. What makes this different to the other two Metalsteps I already uploaded? It's more on the metal side in my opinion - the guitar is more pronounced and every one and then the Wubstep is lacking completely - doesn't matter though since 2:35 to 2:55 are twenty seconds of top-notch Dubstep. Twisted, distorted and just crazy.
Heck, this whole arrange is crazy. The only constant are Mei Ayakura's vocals. Once more I have to praise her voice, it's crisp and high without being screechy. I admit, there is one thing about this arrange that bugs me - the Wubstep and the guitar is a bit too dominant, meaning it's sometimes tough to hear Mei's voice through all the surrounding tunes. It almost feels as if the roles are reversed - Mei's vocals are the BGM while the bassline and the guitar are the main thing.
Other than that... Damn, this is some tasty stuff. The tempo is fast without being hectic, the Dubstep packs a punch, the guitar has a nice sound as well and the refrain is quite catchy - you listen to this arrange once or twice and you can already exactly tell when the refrain is setting it.
Overall, great job by Pizuya and Mei, I'm so looking forward to the next Metalstep album by PC.

PS: I know, I know. What does Yuuka have to do with this arrange. The answer is nothing. BUT! One of her Titles is the Flower Master of the Four Seasons. And since the base tune is titled Fairy of Flower....You get where I'm aiming at. Also, this is a badass arrange. AND THERE ARE NO BADASS PICS OF MARRIBEL AND USAMI. It's driving me INSANE D:
