The show, Embroidered Mise-en-Scène, is an exhibition that plays with the notion of one art form shaping another, influencing another, inspiring another. The tagline: ‘when an idea becomes the film, the film becomes the photograph, and the photograph becomes the painting,’ summarizes the flipped process of moviemaking. The show also reviews the visual morphological shifts that at times takes place within an artist’s oeuvre. An added medium to the mix of media presented by Antaramian is a special performance organized by artist and dance choreographer Debra Parola. This performance is only on ARTHOP night at 7PM. Embroidered Mise-en-Scène, will be on display from March 2 to April 2, 2017. Gallery hours are Friday through Sunday from 12PM to 4PM. Opening reception is March 2 from 5PM to 8PM, special performance at 7PM. For further information about the show and the artist, visit the Fig Tree Gallery FB page and www.figtreegallery.us.
