The standards that you have been reseaching on the internet i.e. "1.5 mile runs and shit" are just the PAST test. Physical abilities and stamina test. Its the intial qualification test just to be accepted into the indoctrination course. By the end of the 10 week selection its 6 mile run at 7 min/ mile pace 75 push ups 2 min, 85 sit ups 2 min, 15 pulls 1 min 16 chins 1 min 100 flutter kicks 4 count 2min, 4000 meter swim and water con include long stride flip 50 m underwater buddy breathing etc
Wil Willis
yeah but when ever he runs into the opfor he's bound to run into crews as well. There have to be a few cameras running around that catch him maneuvering especially in tight spaces like the ship last night.
Wil Willis
I think PJs who have given their lives in Iraq Afghanistan and the Phillipines would disagrre to your "pussy" comment as well. Including an Air Force Cross recipient who died on Roberts Ridge in 4 March 03 as part of a CSAR team sent in to recover/ support Navy SEAL members. Do your homework before you make half assed claims about guys who have actually serve in this time of war in any capacity! Its a big machine and every unit is supported by the next. No one works autonomously.
Wil Willis
Actually you are right and wrong. The primary function of a PJ is personnel recovery. PJs pick up who ever where ever and provide expert medical treatment on the ground and en route to a treatment facility; however, operations exist on a Tiered level. There are PJs that are incorporated directly into "the stack" with your so called "Black Ops" Tier One units. HR, DA, PR, you name it PJs are there doing it. Nuff said.
Wil Willis
actually he was shot during the snow episode and only completed a few of the objectives. Additionally he's not rolling with a crew. He films everything himself with a gun cam and a handheld.
