So to recap, a little TLDL -New accounts required to access the fresh servers to disable the abuse of loyalty and wealth stored on legacy servers. -Accounts that are fresh server accounts will not have access to legacy servers -Cash shop will be limited, anything that gives an advantage will be removed except labor stipend and patron -removal of labor pot will make server wide progression slower than previously, I think they are trying to prolong launch experience -they seemed to have learned from 2.0 release and made pretty good changes such as less rng for crafting gear -AA at the end of the day is p2win, but with new changes in 3.0 and fresh start server, it will be less pay to win and gear gap wont be as wide -cash shop items will slowly be reintroduced into the fresh start servers (pls 3months) -maybe merge auction house + allow transfers in 6-9 months (they said they will monitor it) -most balanced launch we will see, if there was ever a time to start playing AA or return due to nostalgia, now is the time
Clarification: Castles and housing will be available on the fresh start server at launch, but it will take a little while for the players to upgrade the diamond shore base to level 3, which is why I said that castles are not available straight away.
One of the most important features that is frequently forgotten at Fresh Start are the public farms. There are three types available, and everything you grow there is protected for 24 hours. It is an excellent source of early logs (albeit Labor intensive) by planting Hornbeams.
