Curtin professors Chun-Zhu Li and Hongwei Wu, and Dr Shan Wang have developed a more efficient process to extract sustainable energy sources, such as bio-oil and a combustible bio-gas, from biomass materials including wood and waste from plants and animals. The end result is a green, sustainable and profitable energy source, which will play a vital part in providing energy in the future.
