Highlights from the Aloha Color Run at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center. Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge was a major sponsor of the event which raised funds for special projects on the Iverson Riddle campus. At four stations along the course of the 5K run/walk, participants were dusted with colored corn starch powder. Participants were encouraged to wear Hawaiian and luau gear as part of the fun. The event was held on September 17th, with hundreds participating. Brent Pearson of the Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge WellWorx program was an integral organizer of the Couch to 5K program started with our teammates - all of whom participated in this race.
