Voxel Cone Tracing Test Engine created in OpenGL 4.3. Please be aware that some artifacts occur due to the quality of the rendered video. I can upload a higher quality video in avi format upon request. You will obviously notice that the cone traced shadows still need some work.
Buddha model was obtained from the Stanford 3D Scanning Repository. Credit to Pavel Timofeyev from for allowing me to use his Stained-glass texture in this video. The "disjointed" hex texture, sphere and box are my own. Hopefully I haven't missed out on anyone else.
Runs on average 40fps in 1024x768 resolution with 64x64x64 voxels in a single 3D texture on a Clevo laptop (gtx 485m, i7-2720QM 2.20GHz with 8GB ram on Windows 7 64-bit. The application itself is also run in 64-bit.
This scene only takes up 35MB in memory because there is no octree yet.
