Every year since the late 1980s, a group of people from the Ripon community, many of whom have never even been on a plane before, head to Panama to help Father Wally Kasuboski. Fr. Wally, who grew up around Ripon, has made improving the lives of people in the small village of Wacuco his life's work. The group of volunteers, which usually includes several Ripon College students, help with various infrastructure projects such as roads, buildings and, most importantly, the creation of a clean and efficient water-transportation system. This short video discusses the Jan. 2012 trip to Wacuco and the impact it has on students' lives.
