So when I first started get into Hunger Games, I didn't have a whole lot of time to actually sit down and read, so something I did was find audiobooks online. But here's the thing: I never really liked the official one. I always thought the person reading the audiobook didn't sound much like Katniss, and all the fan-made ones that I found were either done by guys or not good quality or both.
Long story short, I finally said "OKAY. Someone's gotta fix this." I have been wanting to do this for LITERALLY years, and yesterday, I finally sat down and recorded and it sounds FANTASTIC!
I did want to say sorry about the odd snapping and popping that comes in around 3:40. It's a glitch in my system that has now been taken care of. I just didn't realize it was happening until I had finished recording, and I want to record it all over again.
I do not own this story, the characters, the soundtrack, or the images in this video. I'm just for fun and no money is being made off of this video. No copyright infringement is intended.
The ambiences used in this video were mixed by me using sound samples from iTunes and the YouTube Sound Library.
In Chapter One, Katniss goes hunting with Gale, trades at the Hob, and then gets ready before leaving for Reaping day, where her sister Prim's name is drawn for the Hunger Games.
Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds be ever in your favor.
