We are screening in many communities across the country on THURSDAY for WORLD HOMELESS DAY, October 10, 2019. Since its founding, World Homeless Day has been observed in several dozen countries throughout the world. The purpose of this day is to draw attention to the needs of homeless people locally and provide opportunities for the community to get involved in responding to homelessness.
On Thursday, the communities listed below are joining our World Homeless Day efforts to raise awareness about why housing and caring for people who are living outside on our streets is imperative. At a time when we are in the midst of both a housing and opioid crisis, looking at homelessness and addiction through a compassionate lens has never been more relevant.
