This martial art DVD continues the documentation of the weapons of Yin Style Bagua

Weapons in Bagua are unique in that they are considered an extension of Bagua's empty hand techniques, rather than seen as a separate system, as is the case with many styles. The Bagua sword, known as the turning sword, can help practitioners develop full body coordination, strength and endurance.

This DVD begins with an introduction to basic nomenclature and rules for gripping the sword. He Jinbao then systematically explains and demonstrates all sixteen foundational Bagua sword attack methods. Three variants of each attack method are given, for a total of forty-eight individual sword techniques. Each of these techniques is shown drilled with various footwork, then trained in combination with other techniques. Training these techniques will give the practitioner a solid foundation in the primary methods of attack and defense used with the Bagua sword.

He Jinbao began his study of Yin Style Bagua with Dr. Xie Peqi in 1971. He has dedicated himself to training, teaching, and documenting Yin Style Bagua with the hope that future generations of practitioners will carry on its remarkable power and effectiveness.

This DVD features two camera angles and English translation.
