While walking the Guadalupe River on Nov 14th 2011 I ran in to fellow naturalist Roger Castillo who informed me of spawning salmon up stream. We went to their location and I got to observe two spawning under a street bridge. It was an amazing experience to witness these large fish so far up the Guadalupe River despite widespread pollution and sediment build up from flash flooding.
