A report by independent journalists Glyn Strong and Torquil Boyd on the plight of Foreign and Commonwealth service personnel and veterans who are being refused citizenship or leave to remain in the UK.
The charity Veterans Aid received more than 80 appeals for help from F&C soldiers between January and October 2012.
More than 12,000 are currently (4.10.12) serving in Brtiain's Armed Forces - 12 per cent of the 102,290 full time troops.
They are drawn from 38 different countries.
Many have served honourably for many years, done operational tours and received medals.
