So much of our lives revolve around water - from a drop falling from a faucet to small ponds with aquatic life and on to vast lakes. We depend on water for existence literally, practically, and spiritually. The exhibition "Looking at Water" is my attempt to capture the fascination that I have with this essential component of our lives - the glistening individual droplets that can merge to become seemingly endless bodies of water that ripple and shimmer. I've tried to capture my memories of watering gardens long past and meditating by the shores of bucolic northern lakes.
