I filmed some segments of my toboggan haul out along a Boreal Forest lake in Northwestern Ontario, and into the forest. I was solo hot tenting and the load on the toboggan was heavy, we had about 8 inches of fresh heavy snow, and I had to re-break trail with new snow drifting over my packed trail. While hauling on the lake, I punched through a slush pocket on the lake (bad), and I show my scraping system for cleaning my skis and toboggan from the flash-frozen slush which will stop a sled and skis dead if its not scraped off immediately. The wind was howling and it was -15C with a windchill probably about -25. Tough hand held video conditions. I need to find a way to use mitts/gloves for handling my little camera, because the wind chill was a limiting factor in ability to shoot for any period of time.
