Morning of April 26 at Helmahof with D 203 "Chopin" from Warsaw including through cars from Moscow, Berlin and other origins. Strasshof yard, steamer DT1.07 leaving single engine for Vienna to return with the special for the season opening of the Strasshof railroad museum. EuroCity 104 "Sobieski" to Poland hauled by 1014.007 at Vienna Erzherzog Karl Strasse, and the Strasshof special on the Danube bridge at Vienna Lobau pulled by DT1.07 and 2050.02 GM-Henschel diesel.

May 3 featuring the oldtimer meeting on rail and road at the terminal of the branch line to Ernstbrunn, a freight only line during weekdays and now with a seasonal special on very weekend. Today there were 4 nostalgic trains running on this line.
2050.09 in blood-orange hauling the special from Etsdorf-Strass at Fels am Wagram, meeting with REX "Wachau" pulled by class 2143 at Hausleiten.
After that chasing the specials formed of 2050.09, class 5145 DMU "Blauer Blitz" (= "Blue Lightning") and steamer DT1.07 + GM diesel 2050.04 (now you have all three preserved class 2050 GM-Henschel diesels in one video, although two just as helpers) on the line to Ernstbrunn. Class 5042 DMU will follow in part 2.
