On Saturday 24 November, Mt Smart Stadium was transformed from a sports field into a supercross arena to host the Monster Energy S-X Open.


More than 6000 tonnes of dirt was trucked into the stadium to create the track, in a project that involved Auckland Stadiums, Auckland Council, Regional Facilities Auckland and Auckland Transport.
