7/18/2016---realized I never attached the second update video, we hooked up a second building to the system in 2014, see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFAEg...

4/3/2013---I found the update vid I made in 2012! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDO8KC...

3/18/2013-----Just got this from Facebook for those of you with utilization or regulation questions: http://www.ncsl.org/issues-research/e...

Wanted to add a few tips: we had to use the rubber connector on the second tote due to the threads inside the outlet not being standard, so we could not match up the threads on any connectors we could find. The main one hooked up with regular PVC plumbing parts from Menard's just fine (we got the atrium gate there, too, it's some kind of filter with large holes or maybe has something to do with pressure control, we never asked). Get familiar with the outlets on your totes before you buy a bunch of parts you can't use.

Make sure you are using totes that had food products in them, not chemicals. We got ours from a guy who stated he only dealt with food totes, and the tags on the totes said honey on the one and safflower oil on the other. There was some dried residue in the bottom of the one that looked and kinda smelled like honey, we just cleaned it out with high-pressure from our garden hose and got most of it. Any residue most likely will not hurt your plants if it's food residue.

These are actually kinda light, we're 60yo and we were able to pick them up empty ourselves, but once they're full they will weigh around 2300 lbs, so make sure whatever base you build is strong enough to hold that much weight.

I'll post an update when we get some rain so you'll know if the shunt works. :)
Thanks for looking, hope this helps!
