Lostock Junction Railway is a large British layout operating in Southern Ontario. Over 14 years and 150 sessions the team of 10 skilled operators have developed systems and techniques to replicate the 19 hour 1953 Windermere timetable in 2-1/2 hours. Passenger and Goods operations are replicated. Presented at the Canadian Association of Railway Modelers convention in Thunder Bay Ontario in October 2014, it describes the layout, the systems and operational techniques applied.
