Freedom Fail: 'Europe without borders turned utopia'

Stricter border controls are to be implemented in Denmark as the country's parliament has voted in favour of permanent new legislation. It will mean more security checkpoints at the country's ports and at its border with Germany. Some EU officials have already condemned the move, saying it might contradict mainland Europe's much-vaunted open border agreement. Soren Espersen from the Danish People's Party, who've been pushing for these stricter immigration laws, says Europe has to face up to its problems with integration.
