Ben Saunders heads to the Scott Polar Research Institute to see the boots, ski poles and stove that were used on Captain Scott's Terra Nova expedition more than a century ago and the bell rescued from the Terra Nova.
Ben Saunders is preparing for arguably the most ambitious polar journey in history - an 1800 mile unsupported return journey from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole retracing Captain Scott's footsteps. It will be the longest unsupported polar journey in history and the first time Scott's route has been completed.
