Our robot was programmed with a number of operator selectable source and destination positions. Tell the robot where it is starting from and where you want it to end up, and after firing its discs, it would travel to the desired destination. All in under 15 seconds!
This video shows one of the more involved moves as the robot travels across the field and prepares to collect discs from the unprotected human loader.
Having numerous auto modes gave us flexibility in coordinating with our alliance partners who may have a preference as to where they started from as well as allowed us to get a head start for any given strategy in the upcoming match, be it offensive or defensive.
