Comic Con is like a multi-day thrill ride, more carnival than convention, packed with eccentric attire, celebrities, and all things pop-culture. For years, onlookers have viewed these masters of the geek universe with a sense of confusion, caution, and comic relief.

That’s about to change, as Natalie Kaczorowski, aka Comic Connie, looks behind the mask of Comic Con to explain the hype, the craziness, and the amazing superpower of Comic Con. Strap in for the thrill-ride of your life. Things are about to get nerdy.

Natalie Kaczorowski is a producer, vlogger, pop-culture enthusiast, and the Mother of Dachshunds. She is better known for her online persona, Comic Connie. In her vlog episodes, “Nerdy Notes,” she analyzes and explains pop-culture topics for a mainstream audience. Natalie’s offline persona is spent as a mild-mannered executive producer of “Tonight in San Diego,” an independently run, late-night talk show.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
