Recap from my Hoopcamp Minis workshop for a move called the behind the back waist wrap. (You may want to learn the front waistwrap before moving on to the behind the back version. If you don't already know the front waistwrap, you can check out my video recap on it.)
What can I say about this move except - IT'S SUPER COOL!
Please don't hurt yourself trying to get this move. Give yourself time to become flexible and don't expect it to happen overnight. Also, if your body tells you it's tired - listen to it! You don't want to hurt your wrists or arms by working on this one for too long at a time.
I have the red hoop in my right hand and the silver in my left. If you are having a hard time remembering which of your hands matches up with mine, feel free to put a piece of red tape on your hoop while you work through this tutorial.
Once you have this move, try these ideas to make it even cooler! * Learn it in the opposite direction * Do it on fire!! Fire makes everything better!
