Jacob Newell performs section 1 of Ruyu-style Taijiquan solo form (rear-view with pauses).

Some Principles of Ruyu Taiji:
-Drop the pelvis and suspend the head-top
-Drop all the weight into one foot, empty the other leg
-Keep the elbows down and relax the shoulders
-Keep the hips & shoulders together (turn in and out of the hip joint)
-Separate weight shifts from turns
-Relax everything downward...heavy below, light above
