Magoo has graduated from The MIPAws Program (a special training program which places dogs with a female prisoner at the Huron Valley Women's Correctional facility for a period of 8 weeks)! He is tolerant of grooming [including trimming nails, checking teeth and ears, brushing, etc.]. walks nicely on leash, knows commands sit, down, stay, come", leave it", as well as up and off and! Magoo is also housetrained. Magoo is a gentle giant who loves to play fetch and will release the ball on command. Magoo is an attentive and calm dog whose droopy eyes and dopey face will melt your heart.

At about 130 pounds he is a big boy and will need an owner that is physically strong enough for this big baby. He is sweet and affectionate and loves to play with toys. He is best suited to a home with older children because of his size. He will also need a home without felines. Come meet this boy who truly deserves a second chance at having a great life!

All the animals available for adoption at the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their low adoption fee. HSHV is open daily from noon to 6 p.m. for adoptions. If you can't adopt but want to help the homeless animals please visit www.hshv.org to learn more
