Co-owner of Engage Armament exposes the superficial nature of Maryland's proposed gun control and how it seeks to ultimately ban the sale of firearms in Maryland. ---- A record breaking number of Marylanders flooded Annapolis to protest senate passage of Governor O'Malley's new gun control. Then the House committee hearing lasted until a record breaking 3:45 am Saturday morning, with 97.6 percent of all testimony against the proposed gun ban. Now is the critical time for every Maryland gun owner to visit their representatives local office and tell them they oppose the ban of commonly owned pistols and rifles. Tell them that House Bill 294 is a de facto total gun ban because it seeks to drive every gun dealer and manufacturer out of the state by threatening 3 years in prison for a paperwork mistake. Tell them that House Bill 294 will cost millions in lost tax revenues at a time the governor wants to raise gas taxes.
Tell them it seeks to ban the most common competitive pistols and rifles to include those used in the Olympic games, at a time Baltimore may attempt to secure a bid for the 2024 Olympics. Sometimes politicians are just ignorant. Visit your representatives today and educate them, because it's no one else's responsibility but yours.
