Contrary to what NASA leads us to believe, many available Apollo pictures presented as originals have been heavily edited. In some instances, the edit job is so bad that it can be revealed by adjusting the gamma curve of the picture. Here is an analysis of GPN-2000-001137, a versionof AS17-134-20384 where illuminations have been shadowed and reflections erased.
