Cine film shot in about 1968 of a trip to Seacombe Prom on a Saturday afternoon. The Egremont Ferry that took us across the Mersey is now permanently moored in Salcombe Estuary in Devon and is home to the Island Cruising Club. In the late 1980s I used to do a series of gigs there to entertain the punters. Pete and I achieved a boyhood dream of leaping from the top of the ferry's bridge into the sea; something I don't think either of us would have tried back in 1968, particularly into the Mersey!
