During this trimester, I was assigned in my advanced art class to participate in an art contest. Sunny explained the "Color Maryland Green" contest, which featured competitions in drawing pictures in specific age groups, along with submitting a video, including all age groups (K-12). I decided to create a video because it interested me more than a painting or drawing.

The contest was a promotion of environmental awareness. To narrow that down, I focused on the importance of water conservation and how to fix this through the correction of daily habits. Making the video was far more difficult than I thought it would be. Specific details that I didn't think would be important turned out to be part of my main focus. In general, the filming was the easiest part of the process. The editing, however, proved to be FAR more difficult. Along with the editing, the music composition was also a bit tricky. Writing the music itself was pretty easy, but getting it to match up with specific scenes in the video was very time consuming. Although, once I got it to all match up, the music in the background is my proudest feature of the project.
