Monster Trucks were in town at the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center, so I thought it would be great to gain access to the event and shoot some aerial footage.

Without an XP2 Quadcotper, GoPro, Wes from http://wildlookout.com as my second pilot, Justin Homan with http://metalmulisha.com along with the hospitality of http://MonsterXTour.com this video would not have been possible.

Even with crashing my Quadcopter and GoPro Hero3 into the front tire of a Monster Truck, it was all worth it with the resulting aerial video I was able to capture.

I hope this video inspires your imagination for what can be possible when you add aerial footage to your edits with something like the XP2 Quadcopter from XProHeli.

Equipment
GoPro Hero3 Black
My Settings were 720 -- 120fps
Wes's Settings were 1080 -- 60fps
XP2 Quadcopter's from XProHeli
Edited on Final Cut Pro X at 23.98 fps

The XP2 Quadcopter is the most powerful, lightest, and stable quadcopters for aerial video. The size and portability of the XP2 allows you to quickly transport, fly, and capture amazing aerial videos almost anywhere.

We used a combination of FPV (first person view) and Line of Sight in these shots.

For this edit, I did not us stabilization in FCPX nor did I do any fisheye removal. The only color correction I did we bump up the saturation. I do think next time I'll add a polarizing filter to help with the glare of the lights.

I finished up using a No Fisheye Removal in all of the shots.
