When the rescue of a kidnapped CIA operative leads to the discovery of a deadly terrorist plot against the U.S., a team of SEALs is dispatched on a worldwide manhunt. As the valiant men of Bandito Platoon race to stop a
coordinated attack that could kill and wound thousands of American civilians, they must balance their commitment to country, team and their families back home.

'Act of Valor' uses active duty U.S. Navy Seals as actors. The characters they play are fictional, but the weapons and tactics used are real.

'Act of Valor' hits theaters February 17, 2012

Badass movie, made with with badasses. What a refreshing change from the tired old recycled Hollywood turds.
I can't believe this movie was panned by critics.  Granted, a little weak on plot, but great action - I thought it was very good

i thought it was incredible. i loved it
+Sutterjack Critics would rather watch romantic comedies or hollywood action blockbuster bs lol
I thought the guys did a great job 'acting.' The action was right up there w/ Lone Survivor. It just had a lot longer firefight. AOV showed a lot more tactical movement. The scene where the dude swam up to the dock and his arms come up out of the water to catch the dude falling into the water after taking a bullet to the head was awesome. The splash would've given them away. Brilliant. They think of EVERYTHING.
Did you notice when the bad guy got shot in the head he didn't drop his MP5? Hell his trigger finger didn't even move.

This is one of my top three favorite movies of all time.  Maybe it vies for first place on my list.  Have seen it God knows how many times.  Thoroughly enjoyed this clip too.  Cool.  Beyond cool.

Conner Ashford
More like heartbreaking
Jay Mills
every time i watch it i break down at the end
If anyone thinks a SeAL wouldn't jump on a grenade to save his teammates, look up Michael Monsoor. He went out exactly like that. He was a new guy to the teams. 1st deployment, I believe.
Nick Siebert
I read -Service by Marcus Luttrell, and he talked about him
where the terrorists real too?
Go Geo
Oh yeah put a SEAL with a terrorist and see what`s happening!

I've watched this movie over and over, never gets old for me. I was a Navy Corpsman myself, this is the first movie that I'm not sitting there correcting mistakes your typical actors make in a military movie.
