This song ended up on my acoustic EP "Love Always, Your Tragedy" and you can find it here: http://www.TheGlassChild.bandcamp.com :)

Last night I climbed up on my friend's roof and wrote this song. This is not mixed or produced or professionally recorded in any way, just me singing straight into the mic on my broken little laptop, just to capture this night and the moment for myself. Maybe I'll make a proper recording one day if you like it? :)

LYRICS:

Cold, sitting on the rooftop
watch the world beneath my feet

I'm clinging to the mountains
oh I hear them calling me

What happened to the dreamers?
oh we used to live so free

High, sitting on the rooftop
city-lights are blinding me

Chorus:
Oh the places I could go
Watch this world down far below
Lose my grip of what's controlling me
Jump reckless falling free

I will love and lose again
I've carried you to every place I've been
Meet me where this city ends
We can start anew again

I could be someone to need
I could be someone you need

I will love and lose again
I've carried you to every place I've been
Meet me where this city ends
We can start anew again

All these things that we could be
Endless possibilites
Watch my life spin fast beneath
this place, controlling me

Cold, sitting on the rooftop
watch the world beneath my feet

I'm clinging to the mountains
oh I hear them calling me

What happened to the dreamers?
oh we used to live so free

High, sitting on the rooftop
city-lights are blinding me
