Cenk Interviews Michael Hastings of Rolling Stone and BuzzFeed

Michael Hastings is best known for a 2010 interview with General Stanley McChrystal, NATO commander in the Afghanistan war. Comments from the General published in the Rolling Stone magazine interview led President Obama to relieve McChrystal of duty. In this conversation with Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks, Hastings talks about his early experiences as a journalist, and explains how some media outlets soften news coverage and inadvertently serve the purpose of supporting the establishment.
