CHARLIE CHARMS AUDIENCES AND CRITICS

UNTIL SAT 19 OCT 2013

Following our press night on Tuesday, the reviews and audience comments are rolling in for this musical melodrama which is full of humour, music and riotous fun.

One of the great villains of the Victorian age, Charlie Peace was a master cat burglar. His existence made good folk shudder as he stole money and pearls from right under their noses! His skill in disguise meant he evaded capture on many occasions, but even old Charlie couldn't get away with it forever.

His antics made him a legend in his own lifetime. He was a favourite in The Illustrated Police News, The Penny Dreadfuls and even Madame Tussauds gave him a home.

The audience are very much part of this production with a healthy amount of interaction welcome and the set, brought to life by renowned graphic artist Eddie Campbell's llustrations, has been hailed for its ingenuity and ability to transport us back to the Victorian era.

Don't miss this this rollercoaster of a show in which Charlie takes you on his journey from petty thief to notorious criminal; from villain to hero.
