ICPH and City Limits held the second Tackling Poverty NYC session on Wednesday, January 30 at El Museo del Barrio in Manhattan. The panel, featuring Dona Anderson (Director, The Institute for Children, Poverty, and Homelessness), Melissa Boteach (Director of the Half in Ten and Poverty & Prosperity Programs, Center for American Progress), Maya Wiley (Founder & President, The Center for Social Inclusion), and Christopher M. Brown (Director for Legislative Affairs, PolicyLink), discussed the local and national agenda for poverty policy.
David Novarro, an anchor and television host for WABC-TV, moderated the panel.
