Dusty was a parrot I had no intention of keeping.I bought him for $200. and figured I'd make some money off of him.I didn't get near him because I didn't have experience with bigger parrots before, plus I was selling him ,so what was the point of getting bit?Well, 1 month went by,I didn't try to sell him, this lasted for about three months until one night, coming back from the bar, with a good buzz on,and a set of beer balls,I reached out to him,and he jumped on my hand without biting. From that night on,I decided money wasn't that important to me and I officially adopted Dusty. It's been roughly 2 years since, and I'm so happy I kept him. When I'm in a bad mood,he alway's pulls me out of it atleast for a little while. My advice to anyone that doesn't own a parrot.Read up on it,and adopt a parrot, they can be just as lovable, and intelligent as dogs&cats. The one draw back, they are messy, not dirty because they love bathing almost every day.But you can do things to cut down on the mess.
