Dr. Betty Davies RN, PhD, FAAN is Professor and Chair of the Department of Family Health Care Nursing at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Davies' career has focused on dying, death, and bereavement, and she has gained international recognition for her leadership in establishing North America's first free-standing children's hospice in Vancouver, Canada. She discusses the grief nurse experience working in pediatric palliative care.
